So this is why I was glad I was able to experience both worlds of Chicago. After a sunny day yesterday, we woke up with a, per news, 12 in snow storm. Absolutely beautiful!!!

I’ve always wondered what snow tastes like. Finally off my shallow bucket list. Haha. #dontjudge

I actually rented a car during this trip since I’m really inpatient when it comes to public transportation, especially when I’m new in the city. But what sucks is that, the car ended up in the hotel’s parking lot during our entire trip, until we had to return it because parking downtown cost a fortune. Worse, hotels downtown charge separate valet parking fee (about 49$ a night). Oh well, lesson learned!

On the bright side (or not), I experienced driving in the snow. So that’s another item off my shallow bucket list. Haha. It was not as bad as I thought, but it’s definitely not something I would want to do every winter morning.

It doesn’t snow in Texas (at least not in Houston), so this snow storm calls for photo op! Again, I apologize. :))

With Edwin, whom I’ve known for so long, but this is our first time meeting personally.

This coat with fur from Zara was definitely a steal! Talk about 70% ! But really, I would have bought it even without the discount to save myself from frostbite.

We welcomed the snow storm with a blast! Party at Dana Hotel’s rooftop! Drinks here are definitely served cold! :))

Rooftop bonfire! I really had to stay warm or else I’d be called in sick the following day at work.

The perks of renting a car was actually this! Haha. On our way to the airport, we were able to stop by anywhere to take photos #touristmodeon. I will definitely be back, Chicago!
