Literally breath-taking!!! I thought I was going to pass out the moment I stepped out of the car. Or I probably did for a little bit. It was the strangest feeling I have ever felt, and to think I came from the one of the mountainous provinces in the Philippines. My head was spinning, I felt short of breath, like I was being hypnotized. My sister and I couldn’t take the altitude, we hurriedly returned inside the car. Had I known, I could have brought some oxygen tank from work. LOL.

Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. When we reached the highest part of the mountain they’d allow visitor to, we were approximately 14,000 ft. above sea level. And as much as I would like to take obligatory pictures, I really couldn’t. Instead, I told my brother-in-law that I’d wait till we’re about half-way down the mountain. My sister on the other hand was knocked out, and vomited  like she had hyperemesis gravidarum. Haha!

Yes, that’s how you do jumpshot! LOL

I’m not sure if it’s obvious, but I was still somewhat having the “altitude sickness” here, but I’m loving the blue sky. I got to capture this moment! They can always call 911 worse comes to worst.

It’s moment like this that reminds me the beauty of nature. I just hope these rocks do not start rolling on our way down the peak. :))

When it’s freezing cold, but you just gotta try not to show it. Fail! Haha

That smile when you finally have enough oxygen.
