After our scrumptious dinner at the Jimbaran Bay Beach, it was time for us to check in to our first hotel in Bali. I purposely planned to stay at different hotels each night for several reasons: the island is not as small as it seem like so traveling time would be an issue when going to the different tourist spots, and second, I really just couldn’t decide where to stay, as every hotels are just as gorgeous as the other.
La Joya is on top of my hotel list–the photos below are the reasons why. It features villas that makes you feel like a local. It also has a 3 layered infinity pool overlooking a picturesque “secret” beach which is not as crowded as Nusa Dua or the other bigger and more popular beaches in Bali. It almost felt like we had a private beach, and I live for this kind of low key scenic places. And the best thing is that, it is very afforable. I was able to book it for only about 120USD for 4 people, breakfast included, and a 30 MINUTE MASSAGE!!! EYYY!!!
- Indonesia uses the power plug type of 2-pin, voltage is 220 volts/50Hz, similar to European countries. You may need a converter to a 2-pin head that looks like this.
- I’m sure you guys bring first aid kits when travelling, but I’d like to emphasize the NEED for insect repellent.
- Check in as early as possible, and book your free massage ASAP as they can get fully booked EASILY!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for visiting.
